Hudson-Odoi coy over Bayern speculation Read Chelsea • By Alex Turk

In what may prove to be a final roll of the dice in Chelsea's efforts to show the 18-year-old how highly they rate him, Hudson-Odoi started ahead of Pedro at Wembley after Bayern Munich had indicated a willingness to make him the most expensive English teenager.

Sky Sports are reporting that the German Giants have tabled a fourth bid of £35 million for the England U19 worldwide, which includes no buy back option - something fellow Bundesliga side RB Leipzig had been prepared to include in any deal.

According to Sky Sports, Bayern Munich have finally agreed to come to terms with Chelsea's price tag by launching an improved bid of £35 million for the services of Callum Hudson-Odoi.

He has insisted he will not sign a new contract and wants to play in the Bundesliga.

Chelsea are yet to comment on rumours that Hudson-Odoi could be sold but, writing for the Daily Mail, pundit Sutton was impressed.

Fabregas left the Stamford Bridge pitch in tears after waving goodbye to Chelsea fans at the end of Saturday's 2-0 FA Cup win over Nottingham Forest, although all parties have said a deal is not yet over the line.

"What I can say: We like the player and take a great interest in signing him".

"He is ready for the Premier League", said Maruizio Sarri.

The Chelsea winger has made only one league appearance this season, but Sarri believes that he is ready to compete with Willian and Pedro, the established first-teamers. "I don't want a very important player like Cesc to be unhappy".

He added that Chelsea will need to sign a replacement if former Spain midfielder Fabregas leaves in the January transfer window.

"In my opinion, he's a player who would fit in well at our club".

"Without Cesc we are only five, so we are in trouble". I have seen him every day in training, he has been very normal.
