Brawl quickly erupts after Raptors’ Serge Ibaka goes after Cavaliers’ Marquese Chriss

Serge Ibaka and Marquese Chriss traded blows on the court as the National Basketball Association clash between Toronto Raptors and Cleveland Cavaliers descended into chaos on Monday night.

And after handling Toronto through the first two-and-a-half quarters, things got a little hairy at the end of the third.

Ibaka shoved Chriss from behind and grabbed near his neck before throwing a punch.

Both players were ejected following the fracas and suspensions - probably a more serious one for Ibaka - are likely on the way.

The incident took place right at the end of the 3rd quarter, when the Raptors threw the ball up court, for Ibaka to collect and shoot, with a second left on the clock.

Ibaka and Chriss collided while going for a full-court pass near the Raptors' basket. "He played a terrific all-around game".

It was a rough night for the Toronto Raptors as they lost to the bottom-dwelling Cleveland Cavaliers 126-101 on Monday night.

A day after committing 21 turnovers in a 21-point win over Miami, Toronto committed 20 turnovers in a 25-point loss to Cleveland.

Leonard, averaging 27 points this season, hasn't appeared in more than two consecutive games since playing in five straight from January 25 through February 5.

Kevin Love tallied his sixth double-double since the All-Star Break - finishing with 16 points and a game-high 18 boards.

Quotable - Coach Larry Drew, on his rookie point guard's performance on Monday ... McCaw appeared in three games with the Cavaliers earlier this season.

We'll keep you updated as soon as information becomes available for the disciplinary fines/suspensions for both Ibaka and Chriss. G Matthew Dellavedova (concussion) missed his second straight game.

"I didn't see much of it, to be honest", Nurse said. We certainly don't want that in our game.
