With the debut of the Epic Games Store back in December of past year, Epic Games made a direct line for grabbing major exclusives to debut on their digital store front, such as the anticipated Metro Exodus most recently. The Outer Worlds will launch on the Windows 10 storefront, though, and being published by Take-Two's new Private Division label. With Epic Games Store titles in the mix, that number is sure to grow. Humble Bundle has been chosen as a distribution partner for the Epic Games store which will allow it to sell Epic Games keys which will be redeemable on the Epic Games store.
Announced during Epic's State of Unreal GDC 2019 presentation, Epic announced that Metro Exodus' sold 2.5 times that of Last Light.
The VG247 report also mentions that Subnautica and Slime Rancher, which were available for free via Epic Games Store for two weeks, each received over 4.5 million downloads on the platform. Epic will receive no revenue share from the sale of those games purchased through the Humble Store.
There are no release dates yet for Quantic Dream's three-game offering on PC but we'll hopefully hear more about that later in the year. Outer Worlds and Ancestors the Humankind Odyssey were announced by Epic to be new exclusives - although there is a caveat in the case of The Outer Worlds.
