PlayStation's State Of Play Reveals No Man's Sky Beyond For PSVR

Marvel's Iron Man VR is a PSVR game about flying around and shooting down enemies as Tony Stark. We see Iron Man talking to his AI assistant Friday, whom he's been using ever since good ol' Jarvis upgraded to Vision status in Avengers: Age of Ultron.

Personally, I think VR is a great addition to No Man's Sky, as the vibrancy of the game and the easy-on-your-eyes graphics makes it a ideal game to experience in VR, and I'm sure that plenty of PlayStation VR owners will pick up the game or return to the game to experience it for themselves.

The report confirms a Wario64 tweet from last week, which quoted a GameStop memo saying, "Sony full game digital downloads will only be available for purchase through the PlayStation marketplace" after April 1. However, it wouldn't be all that surprising if it does turn out to be a PlayStation VR exclusive.

A new site that's expected to have more information was shown in the trailer, though it doesn't appear as though the site is live yet. The second is likely virtual reality support.

The developer has promised more news to come on all aspects of the update before "Beyond" will arrive for free this summer.

Sony has confirmed they plan to strike a fairly nasty blow against video game retailers, cutting off the flow of full-game digital download codes.

This isn't just a VR experience separate from the main game. Some of the new control changes made for VR were talked about.

Update: This article has been updated with additional details on the VR support for No Man's Sky, including PC compatibility. There are certainly some big names here, but only time will tell whether they're worth the investment.
