The Royals already operate three official Instagram accounts - @TheRoyalFamily, which focuses on the Queen and other members of the royal family; @ClarenceHouse for Charles and Camilla, the Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall; and @KensingtonRoyal for Prince William and Kate, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and up until now, Harry and Meghan.
We look forward to sharing the work that drives us, the causes we support, important announcements, and the opportunity to shine a light on key issues.
The inaugural post included a gallery of photos of them on engagements around the world, including from last years overseas tour of Australia, New Zealand, Tonga and Fiji.
As Meghan Markle gears up for the arrival of her first child, it's safe to say that the whole family is excited to welcome a new baby into the fam.
The account officially launched on Tuesday, and it already has a rapidly growing audience of 324,000 followers.
Prince Charles has also given Meghan and Harry advice on how to deal with all of the negative press that's been coming their way. "We thank you for your support, and welcome you to @sussexroyal."- Harry & Meghan".
The social media account was announced on the Kensington Royal Instagram account and Twitter feed, and has been launched in time for Meghan, 37, and Harry, 34, to announce the upcoming birth of their first child, due this month.
But we hope that call for modesty doesn't extend to this account because we need all of the precious behind-the-scenes baby moments we can get after Baby Sussex arrives! Well, we can't do anything about that, but we can give you the next next best thing: a highly dramatized look into what her new life as the Duchess of Sussex might possibly resemble somewhat. So, could a separate account be on the way, too?
