R Truth Beat The Miz

Miz had the win with his feet on the ropes. But Bryan shoved them off. Miz yelled at him then walked in to the spinning forearm for the finish.

Teddy talks to Drew. Same as last week. No loss. Vince hand picked his opponent. Teddy makes it winner take all. Winner is IC champ and in MITB.

Drew vs. a guy from Seattle named Adam Bold. DDT. Drew is in MITB.

Big Show over Morrison. John went for the flying Chuck, and Show punched him in the face.

Vickie and Tiffany had a catty talk. Vickie put her in a match with Michelle tonight

Hart Dynasty and Cryme Tyme with a no contest. Taker came out and his four moves on each guy finishing with Hells Gate on JTG.

Tiffany wins by DQ. Vickie pushed her on the outside. The heels beat on Tiffany when Beth makes the save. She’s left alone with Vickie. Clothesline to a huge POP. Heels save her from more.

Kane vs Gallows. No contest as Punk comes in and hits two GTSs on Kane. First botched. Rey came out and chased him away.

Highlight Reel. Jericho said Edge is injury prone, used Vickie, spear, etc. They tease the Jeritron spot. Edge went for a spear, took the belt shot. Jericho kept saying spear over his corpse.

Hello everyone, as we are on week 3 of WWE NXT. We are rapidly moving forward, and continuing to find out just who is the next star in WWE Programming. Well, let’s not waste anymore time, and get right down to it.

David Otunga:

I really liked the double shoulder block by David Otunga, and R-Truth to start off their momentum. It looks as though R-Truth, and Otunga both have great chemistry, and that just shows versatility, which is awesome. The crowd seemed to be extremely into Otunga when he got the hot tag, as well. I’m still shaky on his acting work, but that can only improve. Let’s hope that it does.

RATING: 4/5

Daniel Bryan:

This man has really done a lot, and has stepped his game up. Week in, and week out, he has been quite impressive. In addition, I love the whole “Respect” angle that Bryan and Miz are playing up to, and it only adds to their storyline. He also helped out The Miz, when clearly he didn’t have to. It seems as though they are making him a face, with heel ways, similar to a less comical Flair. Daniel Bryan was a lot like his NXT rival, David Otunga in the sense that they both need to work on some of their acting work. Nevertheless, I still believe that Daniel Bryan is the one with the most momentum, nonetheless.

RATING: 4/5

We are greeted by a backstage promo featuring Wade Barrett, as well as Justin Gabriel. Wade showed a lot of promise as far as his mic skills. As for Justin…He needs work, but he isn’t exactly terrible. I really like both of these guys on the mic, and they just showed the world what they can do. Not too much is really left to say on that.

Heath Slater:

The One Man Rockband took on Carlito in a singles match, as both men were accompanied by their partners. Back to the action, Heath took a few good, solid bumps to start off their match, making Carlito look tough. The thing I’m really not a fan about is when he taunts away at his opponents, which is fine, but I feel he doesn’t deliver promise with it. Although he is my favorite, there is some stuff he needs to work on. For example, a kick to the midsection. I know I’m kind of getting detailed, but this really stood out, because Heath didn’t make it look too good. He still shows just as much promise as Daniel Bryan, and David Otunga.

RATING: 4/5

A backstage segment with CM Punk and the straight edge society is welcomed with Darren Young. In this promo, Punk really gets over with Serena and Luke. Punk has been extremely entertaining to watch lately, and really demonstrates it here.

Wade Barrett:

Wade Barrett has Chris Jericho in his corner to really help him out, and I said last week that this man is perhaps the most gifted. Well, after this week, I think that may come down to a tie between him and Justin Gabriel. He targeted Justin’s back in the main event of NXT, and the way he did it was the best way a heel could possibly do it. Major props to the man. However, and unfortunately, he did not win. Because of that, he is slightly down from his opponent.

RATING: 4/5

Justin Gabriel:

Amazement. That is really the only word I can give him. He reminds me of ECW Original Masato Tanaka, based off of his attire, with an AJ Styles ring ability. That’s one Hell of a mix. Gabriel’s 450 Splash is quite the sight, and one that hasn’t really been seen since Evan Bourne stunned us all with “Air Bourne.” I like the way how Justin really sold his back injury, and was able to come from behind, and defeat his NXT rival buddy of Wade Barrett. He deserves the only 5 this week.

RATING: 5/5

Week three for WWE NXT is in the books, as we are only one more step closer in finding out just who will earn a spot on the main WWE roster. WWE NXT airs on SyFy every Tuesday night at 10/9 central.
